My starting point
Way back when, my day jobs were in radio broadcasting and commercials, and I didn’t know beans about audiobooks, podcasts or home recording.
So when I was invited by a fellow broadcaster to take a masterclass for audiobooks in 2016 I jumped in. Today have books on Audible, Audiobooks.com, on Chirp, on Spotify, plus I do voiceover for explainer videos, gaming apps, phone systems, events announcements, commercials. And I’m the Voice of Epaphras Prays on Substack and Spotify
Mostly because I took the ACX Masterclass from David H. Lawrence XVII and Dan O’Day and grew from side hustle to regular gigs. (And I recommend them to you).
You probably don’t want to do all that, just record your own writing. If so, then you’re in the right place.
Want me to be your narrator instead? Start Here on my Audiobook Page for more.
NOTE: I’m also available for radio as needed. Find my Radio Resource page here
What’s Next?
By now you must be thinking: Is my voice good enough to record like this? How long will learning it take? What will it all cost?
I want you to know one thing:
You’ve got this, and I’ve got you. Okay?
